About Oroklini
Oroklini (or Voroklini) is a traditional Cypriot village full of charm and character.
The village centre, to the north, is within easy walking distance of the apartment,
and has small supermarkets, banks and tavernas.
The main tourist area lies to the south on the main coast road (about a 15 minute walk). Here there are a large variety of restaurants, takeaways, shops, bars, clubs, banks, a taxi rank, bus-stops, hotels, and hire shops (cars, bikes, dive gear, etc). There is beach access with parking here too.
One of our favourite local places is the 24 hour bakery, offering a variety of freshly baked goods. There are big supermarkets within the Larnaca area, accessible by car (e.g. Ophanides, this is to be found close to the “fire station” cross roads!), and Larnaca itself has a wealth of shopping and dining options.
